Rental Returns
When The Phone Is Returned, It Will Either Be Couriered Back To The Cape Town Head Office Or Will Be Collected By Vodashop/Cellucity At The Avis Kiosk. The Client Will Then Be Sent Their Bill.

Cross Border Rentals
No Cross Borders Allowed To Malawi, Angola, Zambia, Zimbabwe And Mozambique, Even If Returning To South Africa.

Rentals From South Africa To Namibia, Swaziland, Lesotho And Botswana Will Require A Letter Of Authority At Time Of Collection Of The Vehicle.  If This Is Not Obtained The Customer Will Be Refused Entry.

Cross Border To Namibia Is Permitted At An Additional Cost Of Nad 180.00 Road Tax Fee (To Be Paid At The Namibian Border), If Driving A Non-Namibian Vehicle.

When Crossing The Border Into Swaziland, A Road Tax Of SAR 50.00 Will Be Charged At The Border For All Cars With A Foreign License Plate

Reservation Procedure
Avis GPS Can Be Booked Through All Channels And Can Be Included In The Car Rental Method Of Payment.

Currently As A Counter Product, The Customer Cannot Book Avis GPS For A Rental Period That Differs From The Car Rental Period.

The Avis GPS Unit Comes In A Compact And Padded Avis Branded Carry Bag Which Hold Ths GPS Unit And The Various Accessories.  Currently The Preferred GPS Unit Is A Garmin.

Rental Fees
The Avis GPS Rental Fee Is SAR 75.00 (Incl Vat) Per Day And Has A Maximum Value Of 21 Days.

Insurance Cover
Insurance Cover Is Subject To An Excess Of SAR 1500.00 Payable By The Customer Should The Unit Be Lost, Stolen Or Damaged.  In The Event That Such Loss Is Not Covered By Insurance, The Full Replacement Cost Of SAR 6500.00 Will Be Payable By The Customer.

Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. To make a booking you must complete our booking form which is easy to follow and secured with the latest encryption technology. Once we receive your form, we will, subject to availability, confirm your booking by emailing you a confirmation voucher and invoice.

Our reservations consultant will ask you if you have read the terms and agree to them before proceeding. Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. The number of seatbelts (and passengers) is indicated next to each vehicle on this website. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.

Refund Policy
We are committed to providing a quality service and aim for complete customer satisfaction. In the event of cancellation, any refunds or penalties are detailed in the terms and conditions of your selected vehicle that you are asked to read and accept at time of booking. In the event you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
